Taoyuan city farmland pollution source prevention and management plan

The main tasks of this project is to delineate an early warning map of farmland that may be polluted again for farmland that has completed pollution improvement. Through the background information of soil and water quality survey, analysis, irrigation ditch direction, flow and management business, is integrated into the "Taoyuan polluted farmland improvement management system platform ". The platform will expand real-time monitoring as pollution early-warning functions, instantly activate pollution response and the target of pollution sources, and build a list of agricultural land polluting enterprises in the city to trace pollution sources. To clarify the key sources that affect water quality, simple tests will be conducted to analyze irrigation water and sediment to develop strategies for farmland management. Through interdepartmental research and cooperation, jointly implement the management and division of labor for pollution prevention. The main work progress of this project currently includes: (1) collection of relevant data on the background of Taoyuan farmland; (2) completion of the current survey and confirmation of the farming characteristics of 2,826 farmlands once listed in Taoyuan; (3) completed farmland and pollution prevention model construction and implementation of 25 irrigation groups to predict the probability of recurrence of pollution and the increase in pollution; The high-pollution potential irrigation group has completed the screening, and a total of 5 areas have been selected as pollution investigation areas, including the 2-2-5 group, the 2-9 group, the 3-6 pool, the 4-3 pool and the second group of Guoling. Clarify possible sources of pollution and propose feasible improvement plans;(5) The results of the simple engineering evaluation test showed that the sediment resuspended by the channel is one of the important reasons for polluting the farmland soil;(6) Completed the expansion of the new functions of the contaminated farmland improvement management system in the Taoyuan area, as well as the upload of relevant survey data and maps, which will facilitate the grasp of pollution investigation work;(7) Carry out relevant technical support work.
